visit to muji. This was for pleasure and research. plain carpenter pencils (square) are proving hard to get my hands on and I am worried about printing or sticking onto circular pencils. I am making things very hard for myself when there are available products which would b easier to print onto already out there. These hexagon pens would set nicely and would be easier to print onto. One for the crit I think.

/a friend made this
This is awesome. I like that the everyday object are working together to make a lovely little image. You could do this with anything! Something to think about.

24 HOURS AFTER POSTING;
oh my gosh. Idea. If I am missing a packaging element to my project ie. the most important part of the brief, if I love this so much as a product and not as the print itself (even thought the 'printed' image is amazing) why don't I make it relevant to me. I have put together a few logo designs which have triggered an idea. I will follow up on the ol DC.

Etch A Sketch

I want to make imagery on this, now or in the near future.

I've always wanted to do this. It would look so nice if you made etch a sketch typography. Think of the money you would save on equipment. Saving the "file" might be tricky though, just cant bob up and down when you walk to college with this in your backpack.

they dress so good.

This is the corresponding website to a really beautiful magazine I bought. I will try and scan it in but I dont want to bend anything. Anything to prevent ugly photographs.
American Apparel Lookbook is good.

New Work: Kanuhura Resort

On the idea of combining two images into one, I adore this as a method of distribution. It couldn't be more fitting to what could wrk with my subject matter.

It seems that one of my project pathways is taking me down the line of proving what is good with what is bad. therefor involving two in one images. I had a bit of a brain wave and suddenly thought about flipping forms of print. Holography is one of them. There is the form below and also the form of printing tiny angled strips and merging them with others to forms 2 images depending on what angle it is being seen. I would like to investigate into holograms.

Form over function?

Not so much that it is a painting as this could be beautiful on other levels. It is just an example of bringing in a different side to it. This really is a stepping stone example. I am really imagining some really horrible looking ornaments. But this is a fantastic example of what is to come. Plus the process is beautiful.
